Limited Warranty — Outdoor & Indoor Lighting

1. Warranty Period and Scope

Manufacturer warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation, for the following periods calculated from the date of shipment:

• Luminaire housing and integrated LED modules: 5 years
• LED drivers: 2 years

This warranty applies only if the products have been properly installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the installation manual supplied by Manufacturer. For products supplied without a driver, the warranty applies only to the luminaire itself; external drivers, power supplies, or other third-party components are covered solely by the warranty of their respective manufacturer.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable without the prior written consent of Manufacturer.

2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship arising under normal use and proper installation.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by:

• Incorrect installation, or installation that does not follow the Manufacturer installation manual
• Improper use, or use of the product for purposes other than its intended application
• Physical damage caused after delivery (e.g. impact, dropping or mishandling)
• Any modification, repair or alteration carried out without the prior written approval of Manufacturer
• Incorrect wiring, incorrect voltage, power surges or other electrical faults
• Normal wear, ageing or natural changes in colour or finish over time
• Fire, flooding, lightning, chemicals, vandalism or other external events beyond the control of Manufacturer

Corrosion, finish degradation, or other changes resulting from coastal or salt-air exposure fall under normal wear and ageing, as excluded above.

4. Claim Procedure

All warranty claims must first be submitted to Florian Designs, not directly to Manufacturer. Claims must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days after the defect is first discovered. Damage discovered at the time of delivery is governed by the inspection and notice requirements of the Florian Designs Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, not by this warranty.

Manufacturer reserves the right to request return of the product for technical inspection before determining whether a defect is covered under this warranty. No warranty claim shall be accepted or settled without Manufacturer's prior approval.

5. Remedy

If a defect is confirmed as covered under this warranty, the sole obligation under this warranty, at Manufacturer's discretion, shall be to:

• Provide replacement parts to repair the defective product, or
• Replace the defective product with the same or an equivalent product, or
• Credit or refund the purchase price of the defective product

The remedy selected will depend on the nature of the defect and the most practical and cost-effective solution. These remedies are the sole and exclusive remedies under this warranty.

Repair, replacement, or supply of replacement parts under this warranty does not renew, restart or extend the original warranty period. Any repaired or replacement product or part remains covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

6. Limitations

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Manufacturer and replaces all other express or implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Neither Florian Designs nor Manufacturer shall be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to labor costs, removal or reinstallation costs, access equipment, shipping costs, loss of profit, loss of business, or any other consequential damages.

7. Governing Terms

This Limited Warranty is subject to and limited by the Florian Designs Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, which govern the commercial relationship between Florian Designs and Customer. In the event of conflict between this Warranty and the Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale shall govern.

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under this warranty shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of the Florian Designs Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, available at www.florian.lighting/pages/terms-of-sale.
